PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation - Introduction to Information Security

The ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation training is designed to provide participants with basic knowledge of the principles, concepts, and requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 27001 for information security management.

Upon completing the ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation training, you will achieve the following objectives:

In-Depth Knowledge: You will be able to know and understand the principles, processes, and functioning of an Information Security Management System (ISMS). You will master key concepts related to information security such as confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

Correlations Between Standards: You will be able to link ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27002:2022 standards, as well as other relevant standards and regulatory frameworks. You will understand how these standards articulate to ensure effective information security management.

Implementation of an ISMS: You will acquire the techniques, methods, and practices necessary to establish an ISMS in an organization. You will learn to plan, implement, verify, and continually improve the information security management system.

ISO 27001 Foundation Certification: You will be prepared to pass the ISO 27001 Foundation exam and obtain the "PECB Certified ISO 27001 Foundation" certification. This certification attests to your understanding of the principles and requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard and your ability to apply them in a professional context.
