PECB ISO 14001 Foundation - Environmental Management Principles and Practices

The ISO 14001 Foundation training is a comprehensive program that introduces you to the principles and practices of environmental management according to the ISO 14001 standard.

During this training, you will learn the fundamentals of environmental management, including the principles of eco-responsibility, environmental protection, reduction of environmental impacts, and compliance with regulations. You will understand the key requirements of the ISO 14001 standard and become familiar with the processes and steps necessary to establish an effective environmental management system.

At the end of the ISO 14001 Foundation training, participants will be able to:

• Identify and understand the specific environmental issues of their company, considering environmental impacts and key aspects related to their activities, products, or services.
• Acquire the necessary knowledge to understand the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015 standard and its application in the context of their organization.
• Effectively integrate the principles and practices of the ISO 14001 standard into the environmental management system (EMS) of their company, with a focus on regulatory compliance, pollution prevention, resource management, and continuous improvement.
• Understand and contribute to the implementation of specific methods and tools of the ISO 14001 standard, such as identifying environmental aspects, assessing impacts, defining environmental objectives, and managing emergency situations.
• Acquire the methodological basics to actively participate in the construction of an EMS implementation approach, working collaboratively with stakeholders and promoting a culture of environmental responsibility.
• Be able to rigorously manage documentation related to the EMS, ensuring traceability, updating, and availability of relevant documents.
