No. The official DAMA exam is paid separately, at the rate set by DAMA (USD 311). We can help you book it. Mock exams, however, are included in the training.
It is the Data Management Fundamentals exam: 100 multiple-choice questions in 90 minutes. A score of at least 60% is required to earn the Associate level.
The training is delivered in French. The DAMA exam and the DAMA-DMBOK 2 framework are in English, which is why preparation with mock exams matters.
It covers the DAMA-DMBOK framework and its knowledge areas, data governance, architecture, modeling, metadata, data quality and the data lifecycle, followed by exam preparation with mock exams.
The certification is valid for 3 years. It is renewed by reporting continuing professional development activities to DAMA.
You can aim for the Practitioner level. It requires the Data Management Fundamentals exam at 70% or higher, two specialist exams (for example Data Governance or Data Quality) at 70% or higher, and 2 to 10 years of experience. We also offer preparation for these specialist exams.
